This picture? Yeah I remember it. We were just dumb kids back then. Ship was suppose to be the mob boss while Jet and the others were behind the hill chasing us in a game of cops and robbers. Those were the good times. You know, before the war... Here I am stuck on this space age hunk of metal polishing my sniper rifle for the next assault. Long gone are those days of peace with this whole war dragging Equus down. Before I joined the army I used to think war was a silly game, out to get you glory as you brag about your kill count like some fucked up video game. It's not like that at all, war isn't fun... Ship is dead... Fragarach is dead... Flip, Scratch, I try to forget the blood and the screams.

But I can't... I saw parents gunned down while those terrorists used their baby as bait for a sniper. I saw Ship shot in the gut three times and I will not tell you what happened to Freddy. I'm here, in the NGJTF to put an end to this fucked up war. That picture, right there, is long gone for us now. We've all grown up into a future we never asked for. -Prelude
